These two beaches are very well kept and pleasant, even exclusive. Both have an entrance fee, and entertain the wealthier inhabitants of Tel Aviv.
Tel Baruch Beach
Tel-Baruch beach is just nearby Dov Airport, and has the real estate project "Sea and Sun" on its southern side. In the past it was notorious for late night activity, mainly prostitution. But today the beach is completely changed.
There is a NIS 15 fee in the entrance to the parking lot. The beach is nice and very well kept with green grass, a promenade and comfortable facilities. It is one of the best family beaches in Tel Aviv along side HaTzok, its partner to exclusivity. There are many families, teenagers and students who come to enjoy this pleasant beach.
Hatzok Beach
This is the most northern beach in Tel Aviv, just before. Its northern location is the main reason for its luxurious feel. The beach attracts mostly families and young teenagers from the north of Tel Aviv and Herzeliya. Young mothers come with their babies, and boys and girls come to enjoy some beach-time after school (or all day beach-time on vacation).
For anyone who isn't a rsident of Tel Aviv, there is a fee of NIS 12 and NIS 8 for a child. This fact adds to the beach's exclusive feel, and also explains why the beach is so well kept and clean. The way down to the beach is decorated with nice patches of grass, for the finishing touch.
Hatzok is many peoples favorite, so it does get a little crowded. But it is still one of the best choices in the north, especially with children.
