Hello everyone!! so i wnt to this fair about three years ago and bought some handmade ceramic roses type of necklace. I got a card from the woman with contact information, her name was Tamar Hadar. Haven't been able to get in touch with her, but i'd love to buy more of her jewelry. If anyone knows of a way to get in touch, it would be much appreciated. thanks

    • d  - Beduin tent

i think it should also be mentioned for those who aren't there to shop or if you really are interested in the cultural diversity of Israel, there is a Beduin tent (Beduins are a nomad tribe who live throughout the middle east and northern africa). the tent is located about half way through the market where the road comes to an intersection. they have delicious freshly made flat bread called lafa which they serve with leben (kind of like sour cream meets plain yogurt) and zaatar (blend of herbs). its a nice place to take a little snack break and cool off on a hot day.

    • Di  - Michal??

Hello! We want to get in touch with one of your artists. She works in glassware, and her name is Michal.

      Thanks!

      Hi Naftali,
The event takes place on Nachalat Binyamin Street (the part which is closed off to cars), just off Alenbie St., next to HaCarmel Market.

    • moshik  - supplement

      hi.
i enjoyed your article about nachalt binyamin.
i think its important to add, that the arts and crafts fair is composed only of hand made original works.
there is a comitte that hand picks the participants.
they are given low rent fees for the space in the fair.
this is a service from the city to encuorage cultural diversity.
(just feel it gives an extra flavour to it all.)
      thank you
      moshik
