A festival of arts, crafts, pottery, and street performances, Nachalat Binyamin offers a pleasant stroll and some pretty bits and pieces.
Every Tuesday and Friday, vendors display their merchandise on little tables along the paved part of Nachalat Binyamin St. You can find jewelry, painted ceramics, special toys, lampshades, Judiaca and many more objects of different sort; there is quite a selection.
Besides the shopping, performance artists, fortune tellers and clowns drop by at the fair to display their own sort of merchandise. There are many talented people gathered up in this little fair, and even if you're not in the "buying mood" you will enjoy this little market.
Open: Tue and Fri 10:00-17:00
Address: Nachalat Binyamin St. the corner of Allenby

i enjoyed your article about nachalt binyamin.
i think its important to add, that the arts and crafts fair is composed only of hand made original works.
there is a comitte that hand picks the participants.
they are given low rent fees for the space in the fair.
this is a service from the city to encuorage cultural diversity.
(just feel it gives an extra flavour to it all.)
thank you
