The port of Tel Aviv is a bustling area, with new restaurants opening all the time, a multitude of events and beautiful sea views.
Attractions and Restaurants
The great advantage of the port area is that it offers activities all through the day, so you can spend the morning or afternoon there with family and kids, enjoying a coffee in Shalvata while your children enjoy playing, or a gourmet breakfast in Gilly's restaurant, but also enjoy nighttime activity, eating in one of the areas many restaurants or enjoying a show, a drink or a night of clubbing. In short you have all options; you could even indulge yourself with a dozen fresh oysters in the seafood gourmet restaurant Mol-Yam.
The lovey Farmer's Market offers a wide selection of fresh ingredients: organic fruits and vegetables, fresh fish and sea food, meats, Italian and Jewish delicacies, fresh herring sandwiches, handmade chocolates, fresh pasta and more. Read more about it here.
In the summer there are many festivals and events events, so take a look at our events schedule to get a better idea when you are in Tel Aviv.
Shopping and Nightlife
In the port area there are many shops such as: Diesel, LeeCooper, Comme il Faut, and many other imaginative and interesting shops in which you can get musical instruments, fashion items and even beautiful African fabrics. There is quite a selection.
As for the nightlife scene in the port area, there are a number of options offering a very different kind of experience. On one hand you have a jazz club called Shablol, which has live performances on every night (Hanger 17 (storage building) (03) 546-1891) and on the other hand the glitzyWhiskey a Gogo club. There are many other bars, small clubs and restaurants spread out in the port, if you are in an experimental mood, just go around and find the place which suites your liking.
