The Luna Park is Israel's biggest and most advanced amusement park.

Located in Ganai HaTaarucha, The Luna Park has fun rides in store for all members of the family.  Sometimes the kids are just an excuse to try out that rollercoaster (while other times you really hate amusement parks and you simply sacrifice yourself with parental courage).

Like many other locations of amusement in Israel, during the summer vacation the Luna Park is packed with young enthusiastic teenagers.  They sometimes request to overtake you in the line for no apparent reason whatsoever, but rationalizing was never teenagers' strongest attribute.

There are many different kinds of rides suitable for different ages, whether it be the big wheel which gives you a nice view of Tel Aviv, or whether it be this big spinning and whirly device that at best gives you a good view of your lunch.

Umm, NO. No public business declares off-limits to another race without being shut down and fined and losing millions in lawsuits. Why? Because discrimination is wrong and when it occurs the system supports it's elimination. America certainly isn't "better" than anyone, but you have no idea what you are talking about. Racism in America occurs and is busted, as it IS considered wrong and a "bid deal" and will close a business down quicker than anything.

Uhh yeaa Lunar Park was Lots of fun. sometimes it opened for the Jews, sometimes the Arabs, and sometimes both. Its what Happens In America too. Duhh so people who get all pissed that it was closed for the other race, who cares. you should of looked online or in a book to see the news about it... the hell, people get mad for no reason

I am curious ... has anyone else had this experience?

    • Guest  - Bad, bad experience ...

I spent a fortune on taxi fare taking my kids there, only to be told by the security guards: "It's not for you today."

After further questioning, they said the park was not open to Jews that day, only to Arabs.

I think we won't try again.
