Gallery33 was conceived in 2004 to give a framework for strong and uncompromising art from Israel and abroad.
The gallery provides a young and fresh outlook, trying to detach artistic choices from financial or political considerations, an uncommon approach in the world of art today. "We believe in the pursuit for art devoid of quick gimmicks and shallow politics that plagues much of the art world today. Our aim is for viewers to have a concrete experience with profound repercussions." The gallery's directors emphasize.
Above all, the gallery tries to provide a stage for artists, allowing them to express their own vision without having to surrender to irrelevant considerations regarding their work. The gallery doesn't try to adapt itself to popular trends, and the result is powerful sometimes controversial exhibitions of artists who have more to offer than compliance with today's fad.
