Herzliya Museum |
|
|
Herzliya museum is an avant-garde institution presenting the best of well known artists along side controversial works of unknown artists.
The Herzliya Museum of Contemporary Art isn't exactly within the city of Tel Aviv, but it's only a short drive away in a car, bus or taxi.
The museum holds temporary exhibitions of works from around the world, which main emphasis is on video and digital art. The museum tries to introduce new perspectives and concepts, attempting to present aspects of contemporary trends in today's art. The exhibitions are usually interesting and almost always original and surprising.
The exhibitions change every three or four months, so check the local newspapers to see what's on.
