Rubin Museum |
|
|
This is a small museum located in what used to be the home of the artist Reuben Rubin.
Rubin was one of the first Israeli artists whose talent was acknowledged worldwide. Though originally form Rumania, Rubin came to Israel in the early 20th century to study in Bezalel Academy of Art. This little museum's main emphasis is on Rubin's life and creations, but occasionally it also presents the works of other artists.
There is an activity area for children in the basement of the house, an attic in which a short documentary on Rubin is screened, and an exhibition of Rubin's paintings. It is a charming little museum located in a quite corner in the center of Tel Aviv.

Mon-Fri 10:00-15:00 (Tue till 20:00)
