Valentine's Day
14 February 2011 Just to make things clear, Valentine's Day is practiced in Israel. Naturally, it is celebrated on a smaller scale and with less overall enthusiasm then abroad (we do have the Jewish love day in the summer, which does offer better weather), but still. Restaurants offer special deals for couples and a variety of candies, flowers, lingerie etc., can be purchased in the appropriate shops. Not exactly like home but if you happen to be around this is what you can expect.
