A marathon in Tiberius, a Korean Film Festival at the Tel Aviv Cinematheque, a major fashion happening and other events start 2012 off with a festive atmosphere
Fashion Designers Bazaar
January 2012
Every summer and winter Tel Aviv's top designers hold an end of season bazaar in which they sell their items for a modest discount. It's a very crowded and colorful event, which offers plenty of entertainment and music alongside the huge selection of fashion items. The organizers charge a NIS 15 entrance fee, which naturally brings up the question: does it really make sense to have to pay to be given the freedom to buy clothes? Apparently, many of Israel's younger crowd of fashion-aware women and men do believe that it does. Apart from the surprising entrance fee, it is a very amusing happening which gives you access to the creations of all the best designers in Tel Aviv all in one place. Thu 16:00-23:00, Fri 10:00-18:00 and Sat 11:00-23:00
At Ganai HaTaarucha (Pavilion 10); NIS 15 entrance fee
