A rather charming addition to the flourishing local scene of boutique hotels in Tel Aviv, Art+ Hotel, as one might have guessed, is a hotel dedicated to art and design
Featuring a video piece by renowned Israeli artist Sigalit Landau
in the lobby, Art+ has definitely taken its artistic conviction
seriously. The works of art it showcases, which were commissioned from
Israeli artists, are spread across the hotel and offer a different kind
of atmosphere that puts an emphasis on aesthetics. Having said all
this, the hotel enjoys a very simple ambiance and even the décor isn’t
over the top: bright colored touches on black and white backgrounds and
simple, modern design and furniture keep it pretty comfortable and
unadorned. In short, the Art+ Hotel enjoys a very modern, upbeat look
(though the 70’s and even the 50’s do pop up in the hotel’s design once
in a while).
The hotel rooms enjoy all the facilities you could
need at a this level of hotels in Tel Aviv (including free Wi-Fi in the
rooms) and the service, as in most of the Atlas Chain hotels, is
friendly and very helpful. All in all, visitors to this four star hotel
rave about it (really!). The only repeatedly referred to downside of
this Tel Aviv hotel is the size of the rooms, which are mostly very
small (should definitely be taken into consideration). But when you’re
visiting Tel Aviv, there isn’t much point of staying in your room for
too long after all. The atmosphere, appearance, staff, price and
location are mostly great, so who really cares if the distance from the
bed to the bathroom is a little short?
An aesthetic and very popular option that offers not only good value for money, but much more.
