The Carlton Hotel |
|
Located further north from the line of hotels on Hayarkon Street, the Carlton Hotel shares the five star standard of other hotels, but emphasizes friendliness as the Hotel's motto.
Also very close to the center of Tel Aviv, but from the northern side, the Carlton enjoys the lovely view of Tel Aviv's shoreline, from near the old port (in which the hotel is located) up to the old city of Jaffa.
The interior décor isn't very charming, but that is after all a matter of particular taste. It too is inches away from the beach, and defines itself as "the only boutique hotel in Tel Aviv", though 280 rooms seems a bit much for the intimate and personal atmosphere one would expect from a "boutique hotel". The Carlton has a pool and spa as well as business facilities, all on a high level.
It is an excellent choice for this price range, and its surrounding area might be more appealing than the hectic vibe in the more southern part of Tel Aviv.
