The Minzar is a small bar that has become one of Tel Aviv's most notable establishments (or infamous). The official meeting place of alcohol lovers. The Minzar is one of the most reputable bars in Tel Aviv. It used to be even more popular in past days of glory, when one of Tel Aviv's most memorable clubs "Allenby 54" was still open just across the street. Today the crowd includes older teenagers and younger people in their very early twenties, besides the regular customers and late night drinkers. It could be defined as the kind of place you imagine when hearing the Doors singing: "Show me the way to the next Whiskey bar…" This is Tel Aviv's official drinking pad and it has rightfully earned its status as such. You can enjoy a late night cap to finish the night off, or spend the evening there with a ham and cheese toast washed down with cold beer. Open: all the time Address: Hilel Zaken the corner of Gedera (just off Allenby corner of Shenkin) Tel: (03) 517-3015

There is the afternoon crowd and then the evening crowd, and then the late late evening/early morning crowd. Different feelings during different hours...
