Starting off as a tiny unsuccessful espresso bar in the center of Jerusalem, way back when people didn't really know what Illy or Segafredo were, Aroma has now become a coffee and sandwich empire.
Aroma has branches almost in every city in Israel, and new places are opening all the time. They serve good coffee and simple tasty sandwiches – It's a recipe for success. And indeed, they are a very good option for a quick bite, or a sandwich TA. Try the Borekas Pinukim, which is a salty pastry served with tahini, hardboiled egg, pickles and tomato. In the sanwich department you could go for the excellent Halumi sandwich and the simple Greek sandwich.
The food isn't exciting, but the quality is consistent and the service very efficient. In addition, the prices are more moderate than in other places that offer similar fare. In short, you can find Aroma almost in every corner of Tel Aviv (and Israel) and get a simple and tasty bite be it morning, noon or night.
Address: 59 Yehuda HaLevi St., Dizengoff Center (to mention only a couple)
