A lovely and popular cafe-restaurant on Shabazi Street in the neighborhood of Neve Tzedek.

The owners of this pleasant café import their own coffee from a small shop in Rome (Italy).  This is the origin of the cafe's name - Tazza D'oro.  The kitchen offers a combination of tasty and healthy  on its menu, which is a good combination for contemporary tastes that refuse to compromise either taste buds or physical condition.

The food here is very nice and the prices very fair. It's a lovely place to stop and have a snack and a coffee, or either a heavier meal.  But on sunny weekends many people would agree to that statment,  the place gets packed with locals and out of town crowds fillings its pretty yard with chatter, so do your best to order a place in advance.
There is always an upbeat vibe in the Tazza, with good music, good food and on special occasions even good parties.

I go there very often, I love this place not because of the food (wich is very good), but mainly because of the old Tel Aviv "smell" in the air. you can read about other cafes in my blog: http://telavivian.blogspot.com

Around Town

Catit
Catit is a well known restaurant that started out in rural areas outside Tel Aviv, until finally deciding to join the culinary scene of the big city, making itself more available to locals and tourists alike. Lucky us.
