Falafel Hakosem (The Wizard) |
|
|
Just off Dizengoff Center, Falafel Hakosem is one of the best falafel places in town.
During lunchtime the place is usually packed with patient customers waiting in line to be served. The place is most famous for its Falafel and Sabich. Sabich is basically Pita bread filled up with fried aubergine, a hardboiled egg, boild potato, onion, parsley, salad, the Israeli version of Mango Pickle (amba) and some tahini to top it all off. Delicious!
While you wait in line the friendly staff will offer you fresh Falafel, hot from the oil, to nibble while you wait your turn. The food is tasty and fresh, but the popularity of the place speaks for itself in this case. An excellent choice!
Open: Sun-Thu 10:00-23:00
Address: 1 Shlomo Hamelech St. (Just off King George St.)
