Elimelech |
|
This is one of the most time-honored establishments in Tel Aviv, serving Chulent and Krepalach for many years now. The owners of Elimelch are especially proud of their special draft beer, which takes around 20 minutes to pour. You should definitely try it.
The environment is pleasant and the staff quite helpful. The fried Krepalach (meat dumplings), Herring and chooped liver are exceptional, but you are recommended to keep away of the meatballs. It the perfect place for a helping of Chulent and a beer on the weekend - An authentic Jewish culinary experience.
Some Thursday nights they have a bizarre Karaoke event, it isn't the familiar setup for karaoke but its very amusing and in a friendly atmosphere.
Open: Sun-Sat 12:00-2:00 Price: NIS 60-120 pp Address: 35 Wolfson St. Tel: (03) 681-3459
