Being one of the finest and most well-established restaurants in Tel Aviv, Lilith manages to juggle between quality food, a kosher menu and a social conscience. Lilith has been open for the past 12 years, making it one of the most long standing restaurants in Tel Aviv. Boasting a Mediterranean restaurant with strong local influences (mainly from the Arab kitchen), the restaurant manages to offer an innovative and interesting menu without compromising its kosher boundaries. But one of the most impressive things about the restaurant is its social agenda. Owned by Alam, a non profit organization for teenagers at risk, the kitchen at Lilith takes in youngsters from difficult backgrounds and gives them the opportunity to get a profession and learn about the world of cooking. On the menu you'll find portions such as roasted asparagus and pears with black truffles, almonds and chili; lamb spareribs with black lentils; pappardelle with Jerusalem Artichoke; and many other exciting portions. A rare and impressive combination between tastes and social awareness. Open: Sun-Thu 12:00-23:00, Fri 11:00-16:00 |
