2C is a Mediterranean-gourmet kosher restaurant at the top of Azrieli Center, which offers one of the most impressive views of Tel Aviv.

This restaurant markets itself as "feasting at the top of the world", and it is indeed located at the top of the tallest building in Tel Aviv. The location of this restaurant naturally makes the menu slightly overpriced, but you could just have a drink and something to nibble instead of a full meal.  In addition, they serve a rather good value business lunch.
The food is quite upscale and gets rather good responses, it could be defined as Mediterranean gourmet, using conventional gourmet ingredients such as goose liver and giving it a local touch. The view is naturally the restaurant's highlight, many say it's quite an experience to sit there watching over the city.
Make sure you order a place by the window!

    Open: Sun-Thu 12:00-24:00
Price: NIS 150-250 PP, Business Lunch - NIS 79.
Address: The Round Azrieli Tour, 49th floor, 132 Petah Tikva Rd.

    • werner  - Absolutely great

I have been in the 2C yesterday nite for a dinner with friends and business partners (electric cigarette industry). Great, absolutely great.
The location and the view on Tel Aviv is awesome. The wine was wonderful, the food was very good. A perfect, stylish location and a remarkable evening.
This was not the last time that I went there.
      CU soon again, Werner

This is the second time I have been to 2c for a business meeting.
1st - they should probably rethink the policy of having the lady at the desk downstairs tell people that hey cant go to the restaurant without a reservation. She actually confirmed that we were aware of the pricing and told us we had to order the lunch special or we could not enter. Their desire to keep out the riffraff didnt work this time.... Anyway I loved the view, the furnishings, and the waitresses were helpful and pleasant.

The presentation of the breads and spreads was great and they were tasty.
We were then given some small tasting salads - also tasty and well presented.
The main course, steak and potatoes... The steak was not cooked to my taste - the cut was probably not as high quality as it could have been - it was chewy rather than soft. The sauce was good and the roasted potatoes and sweet potatoes were delicious. For dessert I had the sorbet - great presentation - but the sorbet and the chocolate s...

    • bex  - Impressive Kosher food

For a Kosher restaurant it's impressing to keep it's menu so varied. Service is fast and polite. The view obviously is spectacular. The fish is not oily but tasteful. The soups aren't heavy but enjoyable. Overall I would rate this restaurant 4/5.

Aside from the view, there is not much to be pleased with: decoration is worn out, service is young but inexperienced, and especially the food was disappointing: a strange combination of crusted shashimi, a small sea-bass with exactly the same crust, a tasteless rizotto served with un-matched strips of beef "because goose is not available today". Fusion cuisine requires cookings skills clearly not present here, and with the very high prices charged here, I wonder how this place could survive much longer. Best to avoid IMHO.
