Located down one of the nicest residential streets in the Flea Market area, Charcuterie is one of the most popular restaurants in Tel Aviv and the perfect place for handmade sausage and ham lovers
Spilling onto the street on which it is located, the Charcuterie has enjoyed a loyal group of hungry customers almost from day one. Serving a selection of medium sized dishes of meats, sausages and homemade hams (such as pancetta, prosciutto, chorizo etc), alongside simple pasta and fish dishes, this is definitely a place for carnivores (vegetarians will have a very limited selection). The atmosphere in the Charcuterie is very lively and after the clock strikes 22:00 on weekends, the volume of the music goes up and people move in to a more “club meddy” mode, which manifests itself in the occasional dance (sometimes on the bar inside) and an overall elevated mood. The prices at the Charcuterie are not cheap, considering the size of the portions, but they are fair enough and the relatively small size of the dishes will give you the opportunity to try more than one dish. If you enjoy a bit of hustle bustle, go on the weekend and make sure to book in advance. If you’d rather have a less dramatic experience, try the restaurant on a weekday. A popular Jaffa restaurant with an amazing and tasty selection of homemade sausages, hams and excellent cuts of meat that are served in an up-beat atmosphere.
