Located just off the bustling Allenby Street, Tapas Ahad Ha’am is a chic Tel Aviv restaurant that was opened by one of Israel’s top chefs and boasts a lively atmosphere and tasty food
As expected, Tapas Ahad Ha’am serves a wide variety of Spanish tapas and other Spanish-oriented cuisine with an extremely light Mediterranean touch. Jonathan Roshfeld, one of Israel’s top chefs and the person in charge of the restaurant’s menu, has managed to create a well balanced menu that offers a wide variety of small hot and cold dishes that are prepared in the long, open kitchen that stretches all along the restaurant’s huge bar. Sitting and watching the cooks move through the kitchen, preparing the various dishes, is quite an experience. From fried artichoke with tasty feta cheese (NIS 19) through salads, fish, and a variety of seafood and meats tossed a la planche, to an excellent black seafood risotto (NIS 59) and the surprisingly tasty simple vanilla ice cream served for dessert, Tapas Ahad Ha’am is a lovely and not too expensive option for eating out in Tel Aviv.
The place is quite popular and booking in advance is a real necessity! No matter how far in advance you book, you will probably be told that you have the booked seats for only two hours. However, if you don’t book too early, the chances of being delicately removed from the restaurant are very slim…
A laidback, fun and popular Tel Aviv restaurant that offers extremely tasty food and a lively atmosphere.

Hola, Hope English is ok. I love your restaurant. I made a very lovely set of shelves using many Spanish tiles. It would be absolutely perfect in your restaurant. I must move and therefore I will sell it. If you would like to see it I could send you photos.
