Asif |
|
|
Located on the outskirts of Neve Tzedek Neighborhood, Asif is a small bistro that keeps up a slow-food gastronomic ideology.
This relatively new restaurant offers visitors a different menu every week, depending on the seasonal ingredients and the chefs own whims. Focusing of fresh local food infused with Italian, French and Asian strokes, Asif has made a point of being a restaurant that keeps its Israeli origins in mind while exploring new territories.
Considering the place is a bistro the prices might seems a little high and the white tablecloths perhaps a little over the top (though they become the place's overall bright decor). Criticism aside, the restaurant offers tasty, fresh food prepared with great skill and inspired by a true creative view of cooking. From lovely crab ravioli, through fluffy beetroot gnocchi served with seafood and well-prepared portions of fish to prime cuts of meat, Asif has just joined the local restaurant community but already offers its clients a fresh and tasty experience.
And one more thing - the desserts are especially wonderful here and deserve full attention at the end of your meal.
