A small Borekas booth on Ibn Gabirol St. offers crispy, hot and delicious pastries.

Amikam's small 24h working Borekas joint is a city legand.  A locals custom is to visit Amikam's place after drinking at the bars (2:00 to 5:00 am), and soaking up the alcohol with a tatsy nibble.

The Borekas is a salty pastery filled with cheese (or potato, spinach, mushrooms etc.) and baked to crispy prefection. It comes with a boiled egg, spicy sauce and a pickle (or with nothing if you prefer).

For those who are in a Turkish state of mind, we recommend you try the famous Turkish yogort drink called "Airen", to wrap up the experience.

Any hour of the day, drop by at Amikam and enjoy a bite of Borekas.

Yes. I agree with the writer. It's probably one of the best Borakas joints in Israel.
