A unique breakfast only restaurant in Tel Aviv that is a very popular budget option with locals and is open 24/7
Realizing the Israeli taste for breakfasts, a young group of restaurateurs opened Benedict, a place serving only breakfast all day and night. The long menu features breakfasts from around the world. Among these are the Texas style steak and eggs (NIS 79), a Mexican Farmers' Breakfast that includes a piquant combination of chili con carne, fried eggs, guacamole and tomato salsa (NIS 44), and an English breakfast, with its traditional sausages, bacon, eggs and baked beans (NIS 63).
Living up to its name, the place serves Eggs Benedict with ham, salmon or spinach (NIS 49-56) and many other varieties of eggs. Israeli cuisine is of course not neglected in this vast selection: four variations of Shakshukah (eggs cooked in a spicy sauce) and a full-fledged Israeli breakfast also grace the menu.
Benedicts seems to have almost any conceivable dish for breakfast or brunch on the menu. All the food is served with a drink and you will be greeted with a hearty "Good Morning", even if it is the middle of the night. A breakfast gala.

    • Nick  - Good Food & Classic Horrible Israeli Customer Serv

The food is good, but, as usual, Israeli customer service is non-existent. They, as in every waiter at every Israeli restaurant, brings you one glass of luke-warm water, does not refill it, and gets impatient with you if you ask for another. You're lucky if you get what you want when you order, and getting an extra syrup or more butter is almost impossible. If you like warm water, horrible service, and excellent breakfast food that is sometimes chilly when it gets to you, Benedicts is the way to go. Just to be clear, the food is very good, however the customer service in the entire country of Israel does not make it worth it.

Shamefully a cronic failure of most restaurants is customer service in Israel as anywhere. I have seen it again and again, great concept, good food and the death knoll of poor service slowly bringing it down. It is strange that most Israeli homes will treat you like an honoured guest but the minute you step out into the service industry that innate understanding of the true meaning of service goes out the window! Benedicts is following this formula to a t! Shame really cause I had a great breakfast!
