Dita (24h) |
|
|
Dita is a cosy little restaurant, which has a nice variety of homemade and meats.
Israelis like to eat at odd hours, or actually at all hours. One of the first places in Tel Aviv to cater this Israeli trend is Dita, a restaurant open 24h a day.
Named after the female chef, this is a nice place offering homemade cuisine such as: Beef Stroganoff, Meatballs and Spareribs. It used to be excellent, serving the best Spareribs in town, but has since gone a little downhill. Nevertheless, it is still a good and friendly option, especially on chilly evenings in Tel Aviv.
There are different "deals" suited to the different hours of day and night, eggs in the morning and happy hour in the evening (or was it the other way round?), so the prices are usually quite fair. To conclude, the atmosphere is friendly and fun and the food is usually quite good .
Price: NIS 80-150 (though breakfast goes for less)
Address: 45 Rothschild Boulevard
Tel: (03) 560-4222
Open: 24 hours
