    Shop on Shenkin St. Shenkin St. is one of the most popular streets in Tel Aviv, either for shopping or just for a coffee or light lunch. 

    The street is full of shops and cafés, some more expensive and some less. Many Israeli designers have small shops there, whether as groups or if they are successful, their own private place. Whether you are looking for a smart suite or presents for your children, you will have a wide selection on this street. 

     Shops

    • Luchy is a nice little shop with simple and low-priced items (13 Shenkin St.).
    • Shtaim (Two) is a well known second hand shop offering many different kinds of items (38 Shenkin St.).
    • Elite is a pleasant shop with nice items.

     And finally, if you like the Far-east style, there are many shops influenced by or importing clothing from India, Thailand and other Asian countries.

    • "The Third Eye" is the most famous of these (7 Shenkin St.)

      In the last couple of years Shenkin has become a little too popular, so you might want to stay away on Fridays, when the pavements are so cramped you can barely move. 

      For a bite to eat you could try the popular and delightful Orna and Ella Bistro-Cafe.  And you might also enjoy a drink in one of the most fanous Fresh Juice stands in Tel Aviv, not far from the entrance into Shenkin from Allenby St.

      hi last week i was at shenkin seeing a wonderful bag... it was done by an israeli designer (i forgot the name) and it was made of leather, black, streetbag for men... it was about 890 nis. this store got a lot of leather bags made by several israeli designer. i am back in switzerland and i really need to get this bag - it is gonna be a present (surprise) for my best friend :D

      about 2 summers ago i bought 3 bikinis from a bikini shop on shenkin - rio brazil or something like that.
      i'm looking for a telephone or email number - i'd like to buy more but cant track them down.

      A very special little shop where one can find all kind of original jewellery and evan a violin, since the owner is a violin maker! Uri Kling who studied in Stradivarius school in Cremona Italy

      one of the most special places in tel aviv. a must visit place. i own an amazing ring from this shop. the owner who made it is a true art person who is a violin and jewelery maker. he has a uniqe finger print that you just can't miss.

      My friend used to live on Shenkin, so when I would visit her we'd spend hours in the Shenkin Cafes with the most delightful Israeli crowd you'd want to meet. I visited my first sex toys store right there on Shenkin - that was really an experience !
      I miss the friends I made and Tel Aviv - a great city inhabited by wonderful folks.
