Kafsito |
|
|
The freshest, tastiest, fastest and healthiest sandwiches in Tel Aviv, along with salads, other dishses and coffee are available from this funky little kiosk in the leafy northern part of the central city.
Kafisto is a small kiosk located on Ben Gurion Ave (Sderot Ben Gurion) in the avenue's central walkway between the traffic on the corner with Rechov Reyness (Reiness St) - opposite the offices of the Engineering and Infrastructure Department of Tel Aviv-Yaffo Council.
Kafisto has a first class selection of breads, meats, chesses, salads and beverages. (Obviously therefore not kosher).
Located so close to the offices of the Iriya (City Council), many employees stop over for either a quick bite or to pick up their orders and run back to work. Amongst Iriya workers are young local residents from the surrounding neighbourhoods, who stop by while rollerblading or walking the dog or jogging or whatever, for a coffee and a catch up with friends.
Small as it is, in the middle of the road, with a few stools and benches - Kafisto is reminiscent of European street cafes - adding to the exciting sidewalk experience
Additionally the staff are hardworkers and that makes a visit all the worth it.
