Used to work at the Buzz stop around 93-94. Would love to hear from anyone from around that time. Avril

I used to go to Buzz Stop all the time during 1994. Good people and good times. Happy times. Rock on. Cassidy-South Africa.

    • Ami  - OK as an overflow to mike's place

Mike's place is better when there is a game. If you are a football (American) or basketball (NBA) fan go to see a big game there. Sometimes Mike's place is just filled with tourists that want to be in "Mike's Place" ~ so you can't fine a good table or got too much yacking - buzz stop is good - but the food needs to be improved :)

    • David Adler  - Mike's place Vs. Buzz stop

:pirate: I remember back in the dark ages when Mike's Place took over from a very rude and spiteful establishment- It was like they hated selling a man a beer and shuddered at the though of westerners enjoying themselves.Mike himself is a standup guy, an american wih a sense of humour and often sitting at the bar talking to the patrons without telling anyone it was his place. Buzz Stop, however, can be a bit pricey and strange at best. On the off chance that Mike is reading this, I wonder how Mike's Place Jerusalem fared. It was at one location, then another ( back in 03)but it was most certainly the best bar in the area. Mike, all I can say is
      cheers.

Fantastic little place right on the beach front of Tel Aviv. Good beer, reasonable food and great staff. It's the most welcome I've ever been made as a football fan travelling all over Europe watching Rangers. Open 24 hours too.
Favourite of all the bar staff was Elaya.
