Named after the brave dog that made its way to space, the Laika is a gay-friendly bar in Tel Aviv with an intriguing interior and a nice atmosphere

Located on the popular Nachalat Binyamin St, just off the street’s Pedestrian Mall, Laika is a relatively new bar in town. It hosts guest DJs and music events in its two-floor interior and has a special “You Tube” music evenings once in a while. The bar defines itself as an alternative, gay-friendly bar that welcomes all those who love music, cinema and alcohol. There are the occasional “men only” evenings, but the place mostly hosts a mix of people in a mellow, musical  atmosphere.
