A unique bar on Lilinblaum St. where you can enjoy a nice shot of Tullamore, maybe a touch of Japanese Opera and some excellent company. It's one of a kind.
Walking through Lilenblum St., you might stumble upon a huge root planted next to a door. Feel free to go in. This is a small pub that's got its roots deep in the nightlife scene of Tel Aviv. Not because it's the hottest place, neither for having the largest variety of alcohol, or the best sound system. This place has soul.
You won't find mainstream music and people there. What you will find is a small place with a lot of heart, a relaxed atmosphere, cheap drinks and a very interesting crowd, which is composed of mostly regular customers. If to quote one of the regulars: "It's a zoo for endangered human species".
For those of you who like live music - come on Wednesdays, when the pub holds small live shows. The performances are usually of unknown artists who reveal their own material. On other occasions, the DJ will play anything from Classic 60's rock to Japanese opera. The drinks are relatively cheap, especially the house whisky (Teacher's/Tullamore Dew) that goes at 24NIS for a shot. And it's not unusual to get a free chaser, when the bartender's in a good mood. Moreover, if you get hungry, no worries, you're about to eat the best hamburger Tel Aviv has to offer. It's just not worthwhile to be a vegetarian.
Nevertheless, the best food in that little pub is for your soul. Every night, in the late hours, you can find some of the regular costumers, sitting there in their regular spot, conversing about any weird subject which comes to mind. Don't be shy - they're always up for another opinion.
Address: 25 Lilenblum St.
Open: Daily 21:00 – last costumer
Does anyone know of a pub in Tel Aviv where I can watch the 6 Nations Rugby?
