Joey's is THE place for tourists and foreign residents in Tel Aviv.  True, there is nothing authentic about the place, but it does have an odd sort of charm.

Joey's bar is located on the busy Allenby Street.  The place is famous for its drinking binges, but sometimes there is also some dancing if people are up for it.  It's an amusing place with quite an odd mix of people: tourists, foreign workers, people who just happen to be in Israel for a few years with no clear reason, prostitutes, Jocks, dancers and more.  The only common denominator is that mostly everyone gets plastered…

Check it out and see what you think for yourself, it's not really a place that Israelis would go to, but perhaps you will enjoy the touristy vibe.

You will probably get very drunk so be prepared!
