Another choice for an English oriented drinking night is "The Pub", where you will find a mixed crowd, a friendly owner and a challenging pool table.

Anyone who’s ever been in a travelers’ pub could guess what to expect at Scott’s. Located on the corner of a small side street just off the boardwalk, “The Pub” has the ambience of a backpackers’ hangout anywhere from South America to the Far East, only without the backpackers...

The regular crowd at “The Pub” is an eclectic mix of foreigners and locals who would seem out of place together anywhere else, but somehow Scott and his Chicago accent make it all work. Scott runs his small pub, with no food and no fuss. Good music and great conversation on the bar, a pool table with some unlikely sharks near the entrance and a cat or two in the corner.
Don’t let the décor fool you, it’s one of the hippest places in Tel Aviv.

    • Lena  - the best bars in Tel-Aviv

I can recommend to go to this place after arriving plane. This place will help you feel very good. Music is super too.

    • a Regular visitor  - Been there!!!

Even after the relocation, it's still a very good bar.
Everytime I'm in Tel Aviv I visit Scott.
He's the best, knows everyone and your always welcome (as long as you behave your self).
But yes, I miss the toilet poetry.

    • tal  - Bathroom Jokes

If everything is the same, then are there still jokes scribbled on the bathroom walls? One said don't both standing on the toilet - the crabs can jump high enough...or something like that.

    • Jon  - "THE PUB" has moved!

It is now known as "English Pub" it's at 16 Allenby. That having been said... Everything is still the same, save for live music 4 out of 7 nights a week!

I seem to have developed a strange habit of spending all my summers in Israel and the first stop for me (after getting off the plane that is)is always The Pub. Love the staff, the atmosphere and all the... intriguing regulars- Highly recommended!!!

I like it, too. It's just around the corner from the hotel where I stay - the Sea Net on Ness Ziona. I usually pop in for a couple of my way out - and then a few more on my way back to bed some hours later! A happy, friendly environment where I do not need tom practice my Hebrew all the time.

    • Jay  - An Amazing Place

      Hey there,

I'm local, and i've been several times in Scott's pub - it's amazing, the music is great, and jut forget about everthing and have some real good time!!
