Delta offers one of the most comfortable direct flights between JFK and Tel Aviv. All of the major carriers have upgraded their business class service, which will make your 12 hour trip to Israel almost enjoyable.  It should be worth the extra expense, or better yet good use of your Frequent Flyer miles, especially to help reduce the fatigue caused by jetlag.

Continental

Continental's business service is perhaps the best, for the service, the food and the reclining beds.  This is the way to fly between Continents.
