    TrainsThe Israeli Railroad company is improving which each passing year, offering a comfortable journey to many different destinations around the country.

    Ben-Gurion Airport - Tel Aviv

    The new Tel Aviv-Ben Gurion Airport train line is probably the cheapest and fastest way to arrive to Tel Aviv from Ben Gurion Airport . The duration of the ride to Tel Aviv is approximately 15 minutes. The line started to operate in 2004 and is considered an excellent shuttle service. Around 64 trains operate on the line daily carrying passengers to and from Ben Gurion Airport . The line provides services to over 100 thousand passengers each month.

    The Train System in Israel

    Israel is relatively undeveloped when it comes to its trains, frankly most third world countries have a more extensive train system.  The train is good for journeys around the center of the country and up north.  
    But now many plans have been made to improve the railroad structure and trains to Jerusalem and Eilat will soon be available (soon pf course is a subjective concept).

      My son is arriving at Ben Gurion Airport at 12:30 pm on Thursday. He has to go to Ramat Aviv (near the mall). If he takes the commuter train to Tel Aviv what bus will he take from the train to Ramat Aviv? What are the train and bus schedules?

      I arrive at ben gourion at 2 o'clock in the morning. is there train to go to tel aviv ? Is there train all nignt long? And which station to go to neve tsedek place in tel aviv? Thank you.

      I am ariving at 1:40 am on Sat, the 14th of May.
      I need to take the train to Haifa. Where can I find the train schedule online, and is there a departure to Haifa early that morning? Around 6 or 7 am?

      Dear Laura,
      The train has three stops in Tel Aviv:
      Ha'hagana Station - in the south
      Ha'Shalom Station - in the center
      And the University Station in the north
      Best bet would probably be the central station.

      Dear Lucy,
      To reach the Sheraton you can take all trains stopping off in Hashalom Train Station. From there you will either have to take a bus, a sherut or a taxi to reach the hotel.
