Tel Aviv is one of those cities which makes you want to have a good time and enjoy all it has to offer.
.jpg) As the metropolis of a small country, Tel Aviv has grown and developed massively and has now a population of over 350,000 residents, around 50% of which are aged 15-40. Tel-Aviv today is a young and vibrant city.
People come to Tel Aviv from all over the country; ceasing the only opportunity they have to experience "big city life" in Israel. You can reach almost any part of Tel Aviv by foot, and though it is the center of business, commerce and culture, it is the center of a country with a population of less than 6 million, and only 20,770 square kilometers(!), which puts things in proportion.
Tel Aviv has a mix of anonymity and intimacy about it - though it has the vibe and anonymity of a large city, it is still quite a small place that gives one an intimate feeling. In some respects it's just like a big village while in other respects more like a metropolis.
Do people in Tel Aviv have a job?!
Many of Tel Aviv's residents are self-employed or work in shifts, which is one of the reasons why you can find people on the streets almost any hour of the day. The cafés and restaurant are always full, which might give the impression that in Tel Aviv - No one works! You can walk into a restaurant on Monday evening and it's packed! Or walk down to the beach on a weekday only to discover many young Israelis catching some sun. The motto is:
"You live only once - so better make the most of it!"
